Design and features
Indian Scout Bobber launched at Rs 12.99 lakh in India at 2017 Bike Week Goa. The Scout Bobber is based on the standard Scout however the bike features a host of changes and looks like Ghost Rider’s next ride. It gets an aggressive riding position thanks to the revised handlebar and footpegs. The Scout Bobber sports a dark theme all through with the matte black wheels, exhaust, engine and frame. Moreover it rides on cartridge-type front forks and a lowered dual-spring setup at the rear for a classic bobber-like stance. Stopping power comes from single 298mm discs at both ends.
Engine
The Indian Scout Bobber is powered by a 1133cc, V-twin, liquid-cooled motor that produces 94 HP of power and 97 Nm of torque at 5600 RPM. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The vehicle gets cartridge-type telescopic forks up front and dual shocks at the rear. Braking is via a single 298 mm disc at the front and rear with ABS as standard. The 16-inch cast aluminium wheels are wrapped in a 130-section tyre up front and a 150-section at the rear.
