To resolve this problem automobile makers have started producing affordable suv cars and people are loving this as we are seeing change in trend as people are moving from sedan cars to Suv’s .

By looking at this trend and identifying the untapped potential market of entry level suv cars brands like Audi and Bmw came up with there entry level suv. Bmw came up first and launched its Bmw x1 last year and they were able to sell 9375 cars. on 17th Feb 2013 bmw launched there new improved version of X1. Audi launched its baby crossover Q3 on 12 June 2012.

Lets compare them Exterior – When you put first sights on Q3 it looks like a baby version of Q5 and Q7. It has very similar looks to its big brothers which is good as Q3 gives a very sporty look and its famous daytime Led lights are beautiful. Its big black grill and on it four chromed audi rings symbols are excellent. It also comes with a standard big roof top which along with its curves looks beautiful.Bmw X1 looks like an aggressive car as its kidney shaped grill looks excellent and it comes with day time running Led lights. Bmw has improved the lights on X1 as it gives a look of mean suv car. but in real world  X1  looks like an hatchback car rather then suv as it is smaller then Q3.

Mileage Audi Q3 gives away a mileage of 12-15 in city’s and can give an impressive fuel efficiency on Highways with 15-16 km per liter.Bmw X1 also have an impressive fuel efficiency for an Compaq Suv car with 12-14 km per liter

Interiors Q3 comes with beige color interiors as its leather seats are very comfortable and have very good amount of leg room at the front seats and as well at the rear seats. Its high seats and good amount of head room gives a feeling of driving a proper Suv car. The steering wheel is mounted with standard function and its light steering wheel is excellent while driving in the roads of India and its cabin gives a feel of a larger car then it really is. It comes with five different color options for interiors.X1 comes with black colored interiors and it gives a feel of a sports car as its simple features gives a pleasureable experience. It also comes with function on its steering as its leg and head room is less compared to Q3. The black leather seats comes automatic function of adjusting height of driver’s seat. It’s high seats gives an commanding view of the road.

Engine & Performance Audi Q3 comes with a 2.0 liter L TDI Quattro engine produces 175 bhp and 350 nm of torque. It also has a  2.0 L TFSI 4-cylinder in-line petrol engine with direct fuel injection system produces a peak torque of 300nm at 188-4900 rpm. Both the engine comes with 7 speed clutch transmission. It is quite fun to drive on off-trail roads and can reach 100 km speed under 8 seconds and can reach top speed of 210 km per hour.Bmw X1 also comes with a 2.0 liter 4 cylinders, 16-valve, twin-turbocharged diesel engine which produces 177 bhp and 350nm. The engine is equipped with six speed automatic transmission gearbox. It reached a peak torque of 200nm at 3600 rpm. The low ride is not that quite fun to drive off road but it is very nimble on city roads. It can reach top speed of 205 km per hour with ease and can hit 100km speed in 8.5 seconds.
