India’s first premium motorcycle brand, Avantura Choppers is ready to bring in its first Chopper bike by the end of this year, expected to cost Rs 20-25 lakhs (Ex-Showroom New Delhi).
The Avantura Choppers bikes will have a perfect blend of high-performance engines and high-end components. And that will surely make them heavy on your pocket. It is for the first time that an Indian company has decided to launch bespoke choppers. The company has confirmed that the choppers have been designed especially for the Indian market. Currently, the first batch of Avantura motorcycles is under final phase of ARAI approval. The company intends to set-up a dealer network of 7-9 outlets by the end of next year and is already in talks with two potential dealers.

Avantura Choppers
Avantura Choppers is the India’s first premium motorcycle brand. The Avantura Choppers, co-founded by bike enthusiasts Gaurav A Aggarwal and Vijay Singh, and the bikes will be assembled at a facility in Vasai, outside Mumbai. Gaurav Aggarwal is the company’s CEO, while Vijay Singh is the company’s Chief Revenue Officer. Garuav Aggarwal and Vijay Singh has signed deals with global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) S&S, Mustang & Kellermann, to import components for the models it intends to launch next month.

The Avantura Choppers is powered by a powerful 2,000cc V-twin engines. The Avantura choppers engines will be supplied from the American brand – S&S that has been manufacturing high-performance solutions from more than last 50 years. The transmission unit (6-speed) and suspension setup will be sourced from two different American brands – Rivera and Progressive respectively. While the Avantura bikes’s tyres will come from UK-based brand – Avon, the brake calipers and turn singles will be from the French ‘Beringer’ and the German ‘Kellerman’ brands respectively.
