BAJAJ on 15th October 2013 launched its 3rd bike in Discover 100cc category Discover 100 M. Bajaj previously had two bike in this category regular BAJAJ Discover 100 and Discover 100 T.
So we will compare Discover 100 T and newly launched Discover 100 M here.
The M in Discover 100 M stands for mileage as the bike is said to have best in class mileage with 85 kmpl and T in Discover 100 T stands Technology as the bike comes with best technology to its counterparts as it is able to give more power and reach speed whic other 100cc cant reach.
The 100M shares Bajaj’s proven, carburettor and DTS-i technology-equipped power plant as earlier experienced on the 100T. 100 M comes with 102cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder and air-cooled engine that comes armed with a 4-valve head, plus corrugated fins for good cooling and reach its maximum speed of 95kmpl.
The Discover 100 T is Packed with the all powerful 4-valve DTSi Engine, the Bajaj Discover 100T goes unmatched in terms of technology with 10.2 Ps power, top speed capability of 100km/h.
Discover 100M comes with 4 gear option and Discover 100 T comes with 5 gear option in all versions.
The Discover 100M comes with a 1255mm wheelbase, which is significantly shorter than the 100T as it come with 1305 mm wheelbase. For stopping power, Bajaj has provided the Discover 100M drum brakes front and rear, with the option of a 200mm petal type front disc brake. Overall height of 1oo M is 790mm and height of 100 T is 1070 mm as the increase in height is good for driving in city condition.
Discover 100 T comes with a bigger tank as its total capacity is 11 litres in which 3.5 litre for reserve and M comes with a total 9.5 liter tank with 1 liter reserve.
The New Discover 100M is cheaper by Rs 4 k then Discover 100 T. The new Discover 100 M is priced at Rs 46,000 ex show room delhi and Discover 100T is priced at Rs 50,000 ex show room delhi.
