The bike is equipped with a single cylinder, 4-stroke 373.2cc engine. The power output of this liquid cooled, DOHC engine is of 43 bhp which arrives at 9500 rpm. Torque output of 35 Nm comes at 7250 rpm. KTM has mated this engine with six-speed manual gearbox with a gear shift pattern of one gear down and five up-shift.
KTM RC390 – KTM is Austrian based company that was manufactures bicycle, motorcycle and moped. Thi company got famous engineer Hans Trunkenpolz in 1934 as a metal workshop named Kraftfahrzeuge Trunkenpolz Mattighofen. After that company started manufacturing motorcycle in 1954 and It has its current headquarters in Mattighofen, Austrian. The company started a joint venture in Indian market with Indian two-wheeler company Bajaj Auto in November 2007.

The fastest motorcycle in KTM's Indian portfolio, the RC390 is a faired version of the naked Duke 390 with minor changes to its chassis which improve its riding experience. The engine is mated to a 5-speed constant mesh transmission which works in a 1-up and 4-down pattern. It can reach a top speed of 120.2 kmph.

The Benelli TNT 300 is powered by a 300cc, 4-stroke, 8-valve, liquid, two-cylinder, DOHC engine which generates a maximum power of 37.73 bhp at 11,500 rpm and a peak torque of 26.5 Nm at 10,000 rpm. Kulkarni Motowheels launched DSK Hyosung GT 250R in June 2012. Hyosung have finally entered in Indian bike market. They have launched their entry level sports bike GT 250R which will be directly competion with already established bike like Kawasaki Ninja 250R and newly launched Honda CBR 250R.
