The decor is simple, almost ordinary with comfortable seating across the large hall. It takes a while to first walk around and figure out the entire spread before starting your meal and ensuring you do not miss out on anything interesting.
Two popular cuisines – Indian and Chinese – in a buffet format at VFM prices is a sure formula for success. Catering to divergent tastes, there is something for everyone in the family or group and the food is good too. Seafood lovers will rejoice at the freshness (read non-smelly) of the fish and prawn dishes that alternate on the menu. Choose from salads, soups, dim sum and chaats for a healthy start to an elaborate meal. We were served excellent starters like Steamed Dumplings, Paneer Tikka, Seer Fish Tawa Fry, Murgh Tikka, Tawa Prawns and Chicken Wings, along with an array of interesting sauces and dips. You can choose from a wide range of Indian breads to accompany the creamy Dal Makhani or flavourful Methi Murgh Chicken. The Chinese spread had Noodles, Fried Rice, Hunan Style chicken, Vegetables in Hot Garlic Sauce and steaming hot Momos.

At Vembanad the décor is quintessentially Kerala style with a lit Nillavillaku(traditional brass lamp) standing at its entrance the restaurant has a carved wooden ceiling, wood panelled walls, terracotta-tiled floors and heavy antique-styled teak furniture.
They have recently redone their menu to offer even more rare and exquisite choices. Some of the dishes we liked include Meen Nirachathu, Erachi Pathiri, Chemeen Muringakai Theeyal, Chemeen and Koonthal Ularthiyathu and Thalasseri Kozhi Curry. The Alleppey Fish Curry goes well with appams made in a special trolley and served hot at your table.

Spread lavishly across 10,000 square feet High Ultra Lounge is a modern Asian bar and restaurant. The destination is based on the theme of “timelessness – things that never go out of vogue.” When it comes to F&B, it’s the basics that keep players in the game for the long run; the basics such as great food, great drinks, great ambiance and great service.
Blending the outdoors and indoors with breathtaking views of the city with sensuous interiors, the venue raises the bar and creates high expectations for visitors and partygoers in Bangalore.
The Lounge offers Classic and Comforting Pan Asian Food with a slightly modern twist; beverages that use contemporary mixology to create concoctions flavoured with natural spices and herbs; service that is fun, with personality and ambiance that is unmatched.

The Black Pearl, a one-of-its-kind themed restaurant in the city, is inspired by pirates, and the management seems to have left no sails unfurled to make you feel that. From the waiters to the stewards and bartenders, everyone is dressed just right and fit the theme perfectly. The restaurant is designed to look like a ship, with two service levels.
For foodies, there are two options to pick from, a concise (thankfully) a la carte menu with, what else, pirate-themed dishes, and an extensive buffet spread. We recommend the California Potato Skins, Oliver Labouche Drumstyks with mint mayo and Angry Red Beard’s Chicken Strips. The buffet spread is quite elaborate, with a mix of Indian, Chinese and continental preparations. Appetizers like Lamb Chops in rosemary sauce and Jack sparrow’s Secret Chicks are the clear standouts in the buffet. Vegetarians also have several options to choose from, and we strongly recommend the Cajun Baked Potatoes and Aloo Mint Tikka. The main course comprises of all the usual favourites, but we liked the Dal-e-Dum, Kashmiri Pulao and the Chicken Dum Biryani. The desserts section has a mix of Indian and internationals sweet treats such as Jalebi with Rabri and Phirni and pastries. While the Indian sweets were delicious, the pastries were okay.

The rating, decor and good reviews led to finalising this place. And I must say it exceeded my expectation. They served good starters which included a wide spread of fish, chicken, prawn, mutton and vegs. All of these perfectly complemented the drinks. It was full house but the staffs offerred the best service with enough repeats! The main course also had a wide spread and included chicken mutton crab in addition to exotic veggies. The desert spread had a mix of Indian and continental sweet dishes. A proper spread of IMFL was available at the bar and they arranged a sufficient area for the dance floor. They played good EDMs and popular bollywood numbers. Though there were many stags but they had sufficient number of bouncers also leaving no space for complaints.

Ginseng, the specialty restaurant, serves Oriental cuisine and is open for lunch (12:30 pm – 3:30 pm) and dinner (7:30 pm – 11 pm) and boasts of an oriental decor with tall Chinese vase on each side of the entrance and open Chinese umbrellas on the ceiling. A large statue of Buddha greets you as you enter while Chinese bamboos line the walls of the restaurant. It also has a live Teppanyaki counter where guests can enjoy live cooking.
Ginseng…that's the word/herb we think of when we want to eat some delicious pan Asian food. It's been over 7 years since we keep going to this place…while the entire serving staff has changed (and I am assuming there has been a churn in kitchen as well) the quality of food, hospitality has been consistent.

On every level…SoHo is the perfect venue for your next dinner, corporate function or party. SoHo offers excellent cuisine, exceptional service and an extraordinary experience for our patrons. We look forward to serving you.
Fairly eclectic spread and I would say, strongly in favor of the non-veggies. Good food and the concept of serving the grills at the table similar to bbq nation makes it convenient. Interesting stuff is the sushi which while wasn't great, was unexpected. Also, the cotton candy was a quirky surprise in the dessert section.

It has a good variety of crafted beers from lager to fruity to strong beers with 8.8%. Don't go by the look of it. Just drink, get high and lose yourself to dance. All the beers we tried were very good.
As the night progressed, the DJ played a mix of rock and trance numbers which brought us to the dance floor to shake our legs. The DJ also played our suggestions and we danced like anything.
We didn't order much in food but pepper chicken with garlic bread is a must.
We had an amazing time. A must visit for all the beer lovers.

The tantalizing aromas of Absolute Barbecues or AB’s, India’s first wish-grill restaurant, reach you much before you step into the dimly lit, smoky restaurant. With tables of four quite close to each other and the interior being a large space with muted lighting, there is a feeling of entering a busy American diner.
Absolute Barbecue goes a step further by offering a menu with exotic meats. The ‘wish’ grill is more of a stir-fry counter than a grill and has options like Rabbit, Emu, Quail, Squid, Shark and Octopus. The vegetarian repertoire pales in comparison and features just some bok-choy, bamboo shoots and other staples. Yes, there is paneer as well. The smaller grill on the table has the regular meats and vegetables being cooked on skewers, and some starters are plated and served. The pre-marinated prawns had a fresh smell and it took us a few attempts to get the timing right. The Bamboo Shoots in spicy Jamaican sauce, Grilled Pineapple with cinnamon and honey, and Crispy Corn were delicious.

A very pleasant surprise visiting this place, a little on the expensive end but you return feeling content. The versatility is remarkable, they have everything on the menu available and we are down right spoiled with choices and they serve it like the 'Master chef' contestants on tv. Just stupendous. I have recommended a lot people to pay a visit and here i go again.

You can't miss this restaurant on Indiranagar 100 Feet Road. It is stark white with lots of glass, and has visual bon mots in the form of line drawings on almost every available surface. Upon closer inspection, you will find namma Bangalore's icons and symbols.
This is no fine-dining destination; rather, it is a casual restaurant with a fair sprinkling of culinary innovation. The vast menu has to be explored in more than a couple of visits and it's a worthwhile experience. Start by ordering one of their many flower-based drinks like the California Plum, Star Anise, or Lily with Apple juice. Soups like Smoked carrot and ginger vichyssoise; and Baby fennel with smoked chicken and thyme are impressive. Peri Peri Squid Rings are served with a spiced dip and cooked just right. Main dishes are generous and we recommend the very fresh tasting Halibut with Prawns and the unusual Saffron and Wasabi Penne.
We have experienced both extremes of efficiency on weekdays and weekends. On a good day, however, you will find the stewards pleasant and well-informed.
