When you want to compare the two cars in regards of its exterior looks so by that measures there will be only one winner Mercedes A class as it is car which comes with a wow factor. A s the front end of A class comes with a prominent grill with diamond shape bids, flared head lamps and the bold character lines which it stand out then its competition. The car looks young and full of attitude as the car is quite low ground clearance, low roof, twin exhaust, 17 inch smoked allows which giver her a sporty stance. Thought the A class is sapped and characterized like a hatch but it is not small as it is 4922 mm long, 1780 mm wide and 1480 mm long which makes it a size of Ford Fiesta saloon car. BMW 1 series is the entry level car from BMW as it the second generation car of the series which is larger, longer and wider then its predecessor but it is smaller then its major compatriot Mercedes A class. BMW 1 Series is quite a simple looking car which is lot that great to look at from outside as it gives a very grumpy looks as their is awkwardness to its proportions to the long bonnet leads into a small cabin that slops downwards the rear. The 1 Series is best seen from its rear end with the wide rear axle and low stance gives it a athletic looks. The large square tail lamps are wrapped around the sides nicely. The car comes with a low stance long wheelbase and near 50 50 weight distribution.

While Looking at the dimensions of the car Mercedes A class is thought to have lots of Interiors space. The A class leg room at the rear seats is decent as compared to other hatchbacks but its all black interior, small windows and tight head room give’s a sence of being cramped in the car. How ever this car is meant for person who likes to sit behind his wheels then then chauffeur driven. The interiors looks so likely to blow you away as its gives a feel of very luxurious car with its chrome rings ac vents, there is leather on the dash, command system on the music system, you got a neatly laid out steering with paddle shifts which is hard to find on Hatchback cars. It also come with massive panoramic sun roof.The comes with lots of space for storage all in all the car gives a feel of a premium car along with sporty looks both on interiors and on exterior front. Bmw 1 Series in India will come up with typical BMW dashboard that’s dominated by a smart-looking 8.8-inch screen on the centre console. Build quality, as expected, is almost faultless and the driving position, as is with all BMWs, is spot on. The problem, then, is that the 1-series’ dash doesn’t feel special like a Merc A-class cabin does. There’s also precious little storage space in the centre console, although the door pockets are generous. The car is quite cramped at the rear and the high transmission tunnel (thanks to the rear-wheel-drive layout) eats into the middle passenger’s leg room. Headroom is decent though, and the bigger windows.

The top-end diesel version with all the features is to be price around Rs 29.6 lakhs (Ex-Showroom New Delhi).
