BMW Motorrad has lunched the new BS6 compliant 2020 S 1000 XR in India.  The BMW S 1000 XR is the adventure sport touring naked street bike from the superbike maker BMW Motorrad. BS6 2020 BMW S 1000 XR come with minor cosmetic change with new BS6 standard emission engine, frame or bodywork along with a host of electronic equipment. The new bike offers a bee-styled symmetrical LED split headlight with LED DRLs, a beefy semi-faired design, an adjustable windshield, a short beak on the front, split-seat, upswept muffler and LED taillights. The new bike come with features like as four riding mode, BMW’s Dynamic ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) system, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Engine drag torque control (MSR) Hill Start Control and BMW Motorrad Race Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). The BS6 2020 BMW S 1000 XR is unique performance oriented adventure sport touring bike and combined with powerful design interprets for the long-distance and adventure ride.BS6 2020 BMW S 1000 XR continues to be available in two attractive colors options and only one variant including the Pro variant option in India. The bike will be available as completely built-up unit (CBU) throughout the BMW Motorrad dealer network across the India.

BS6 2020 BMW S 1000 XR Specifications:

BS6 2020 BMW S 1000 XR is powered by the all-new 4-Stroke, liquid-cooled, In-line 4-Cylinder BS6 engine with electronic fuel Injection system that produces 165 Hp of power at 11000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 9250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch and engine drag torque control (MSR) as standard. The bike gets four ride modes as standard like as rain, road, dynamic and dynamic pro. The suspension duties managed by self-adjusting 45mm telescopic fork at the front and electronic self-adjusting spring strut shocker at the rear. The bike equipped with BMW’s Dynamic ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) system as standard. The Braking duties handled by dual disc brakes at the front and  single disc brake at rear with dual channel BMW Motorrad Race Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) for the better handling braking duties and safe ride on the road.

BS6 2020 BMW S 1000 XR come with additional features like as Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Engine drag torque control (MSR) and Hill Start Control. The new bike gets four ride modes as standard like as rain, road, dynamic and dynamic Pro. The dynamic pro mode is a rider customizable mode that allows one to configure the traction control, throttle response, ABS and wheelie control settings.
