Hero Motocorp has lunched the new BS6 compliant Maestro Edge 125 in India. Hero Maestro Edge 125 is one of the best-looking scooters in the Hero’s line-up in India. The new scooter gets minor cosmetic changes with minor mechanical specifications change with new BS6 standard emission engine. The new engine come with BS6 standard emission with Hero’s XSens programmed fuel injection system and dry centrifugal clutch for suitable our climate conditions.BS6 Hero Maestro Edge 125 come with semi-digital instrument cluster, halogen headlight with LED DRLs, signature taillight, external fuel filler cap, combination lock system, alloy wheels, tubeless tyres and Integrated Braking System (IBS). The scooter equipped with dual-textured seat with under seat storage, boot light and a USB charging socket. BS6 Hero Maestro Edge 125 come with additional features like as Hero’s XSense technology and Hero’s i3S (Idle Start-Stop System) these technology ensuring the also improve the performances and fuel efficiency in the scooter. BS6 Hero Maestro Edge 125 continues to be available in seven attractive colors options and two variants including the base variant is drum brake option and top variant is disc brake option in India.

BS6 Hero Maestro Edge 125 is powered by the all-new 124.6cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder, BS6 engine with Hero’s XSens programmed fuel injection system that produces 9 Hp of power at 7000 rpm and 10.4 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. The engine is mated to a automatic transmission. The clutch on this scooter is also a dry centrifugal clutch. This is a better upgrade for our climate conditions. The suspension duties managed by telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and unit swing with spring loaded hydraulic damper at the rear. The Braking duties handled by optional 130 mm drum brake or 190 mm disc brake at the front and 110 mm drum brake at rear with Integrated Braking System (IBS) for the better handling braking duties and safe ride on the road.
