Hero Motocorp has lunched the new BS6 compliant Super Splendor in India. BS6 Hero Super Splendor gets a BS6 standard emission engine along with upgrades to the brakes system, suspension setup and dimensions. The new BS6 model a slightly updated exterior styling which include a different headlight cowl and flatter looking fuel tank. The new bike looks tad sportier and more appealing than the older model Super Splendor. BS6 Hero Super Splendor come with analogue instrument cluster halogen headlight with Automatic Headlamp On (AHO), specious seat, alloy wheel, tubeless tyres, self start, disc brake and Combined Braking System (CBS). The bike equipped with Hero’s XSens programmed fuel injection system and Hero’s i3S technology (Idle Start-Stop System) that helps riders gain better fuel efficiency while minimizing emissions. BS6 Hero Super Splendor continues to be available in four attractive colors options with bold body graphics and two variants including the base variant is drum brake option, and top variant is disc brake option in India.

BS6 Hero Super Splendor Specifications:

BS6 Hero Super Splendor is powered by the all-new 124.7cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder, BS6 engine with Hero’s XSens programmed fuel injection system that produces 10.73 Bhp of power at 7500 rpm and 10.6 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The new engine equipped with BS6 standard emission and Hero’s XSens programmed fuel injection system for enhanced fuel efficiency and performance in the bike. The suspension duties managed by telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. The Braking duties handled by optional 130 mm drum brake or 240 mm disc brake at the front and 130 mm drum brake at rear with Combined Braking System (CBS) for the better handling braking duties and safe ride on the road.
