Hero Motocorp has launched the new BS6 compliant Xtreme 200S in India. Hero Xtreme 200S is the famous full faired sportbike bike from Hero Motocorp. The new bike gets minor cosmetic changes with minor mechanical specifications to change with new BS6 standard emission engine and updated features. In terms of design the new bike remains unchanged, the Hero has implemented certain newly added features is a new attractive style twin LED headlight with attractive colours options. The new bike equipped with new BS6 standard emission engine and oil-cooler along with Hero’s XSens technology programmed fuel injection system which improves overall performance and fuel efficiency. BS6 Hero Xtreme 200S attractive aerodynamic full fairing, single-seat, sporty or compact exhaust sharp body panels, alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. The new bike equipped with a fully digital LED information cluster with digital gear indicator and smartphone connectivity, which allow riders to use turn-by-turn navigation, get incoming call alerts and more. BS6 Hero Xtreme 200S continues to be available in three attractive colours options and only one variant including the dual disc brake with single-channel ABS option in India.

BS6 Hero Xtreme 200S is powered by the all-new 199.6cc, 4-stroke, oil-cooled, single-cylinder, OHC, BS6 engine with Hero’s XSens technology programmed fuel injection system that produces 17.83 Hp of power at 8500 rpm and 16.45 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission with multi-plate wet clutch. The Hero’s XSens technology offer better durability, no overheating and better heat exchange. The suspension duties managed by telescopic front forks with anti-friction bush at the front and rectangular swingarm with mono-shock at the rear. The braking duties handled by 276 mm disc brake at the front and 220 mm disc brake at the rear with single-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) for the better handling braking duties and safe ride on the road.
