Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has lunched the new BS6 compliant Shine in India. The new come with BS6 compliant engine with Honda advance technology and bold color with updated graphics. In term of features the new bike equipped with the DC headlamp integrated headlamp beam, new design taillight, new design twin pod instrument cluster, passing switch, enhanced smart power technology, engine kill switch, tubeless tyre and alloy wheel. The new BS6 Shine get additional features with Honda’s ACG (Alternate Current Generator) starter motor with silent starter option. The new Shine 14 per cent more fuel efficient bike due to the completely new 125 cc BS6 engine. BS6 Honda Shine is available in two variants including the base variant is drum brake option and the top variant is disc brake option in India.
BS6 Honda Shine Specifications:
BS6 Honda Shine is powered by the all-new 4-stroke, air-cooled, BS6 engine with fuel injected and Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) system that produces 10.72 Bhp of power at 7500 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 4-speed transmission. This new BS6 engine equipped with Honda’s ACG (Alternate Current Generator) starter motor with silent starter option. The suspension duty handle by telescopic forks at the front and preload adjustable shocks at the rear. The breaking system the BS6 Honda Shine come with two option 130 mm drum brake and 240 mm disc brake at the front and 130 mm drum brake at the rear with Combined Braking System (CBS) for handling braking duties for the safe ride of the bike.
