The updated Nissan Kicks has been launched in India in the month of May. The car Comes with a starting price of Rs. 9.50 lakhs for 1.5-litre petrol. The 1.3-litre turbo petrol is priced from Rs. 11.85 lakhs (ex-showroom). The 2020 Nissan Kicks not comes with the 1.5-litre diesel engine. Instead, the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine has been updated with BS6 compliance and there is a new 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine. The much awaited 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine produces 156 PS and 254 Nm of torque. This engine is available with both 6-speed manual and CVT automatic transmission options. The Kicks 1.3-turbo is the most powerful car in its segment. Also, the pricing is significantly lower than its turbo rivals like Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

BS6 Nissan Kicks – Exterior:
Fromt the outside, The cosmetics of some of the Nissan vehicles in India, at present, follow the design cues of Renault models. However, the Kicks looks quite unique. As apparent from the images, its design does not resemble any of the partner firm’s vehicles and looks slightly sharp and aggressive. The bumper follows Nissan’s traditional theme but the headlamps boast of a nicely chiseled design. The same goes for the tail-lamps which are wraparound units with contrast-colored roof and blacked out pillars. Slight alterations might be there on the production version.

From the Inside, The interior of the Nissan Kicks has been given a premium treatment. It comes with leather trims on the dashboard and door panels and gets leather seat covers too. The car equipped with a 7.0-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and automatic climate control. The semi-analogue instrument cluster sits right behind the flat bottom steering wheel which gives the car a sportier feel.
