Yamaha Motor India has finally lunched the new BS6 compliant MT-15 bike in India. The Yamaha MT-15 is the popular aggressive muscular looking naked street fighter bike from Yamaha India lineup. The new bike gets minor cosmetic changes with minor mechanical specifications change with new BS6 standard emission engine. In terms of design the new bike remains unchanged, the BS6 Yamaha MT-15 continues to pack aggressive, muscular and roadster looks with attractive color options. BS6 Yamaha MT-15 comes with fully-digital instrument cluster with negative display, bi-functional twin LED headlight with LED DRLs, LED taillight, sculpted fuel tank, taller or wider set handlebars, alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. The new bike gets the new BS6 standard emission engine with fuel injection system for the better performance and fuel efficiency. For the safety, there is a side stand engine cut off feature as well as disc brake setup at front and rear end with single-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System). BS6 Yamaha MT-15 continues to be available in three attractive colors options and only one variant but prices is very according to the colors options with the dual disc brake with single-channel ABS option in India.

BS6 Yamaha MT-15 Specifications:

BS6 Yamaha MT-15 is powered by the all-new 155cc, 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC, BS6 engine with fuel injection system that produces 20.8 Hp of power at 8000 rpm and 20.1 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch. The new engine equipped with new BS6 standard emission with fuel injection system which improve overall performance and fuel efficiency in the bike. The suspension duties managed by telescopic forks at the front and monoshock at the rear. The Braking duties handled by a 282 mm disc brake at the front and or 220 mm disc brake at rear with single channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) for the better handling braking duties and safe ride on the road.
