Yamaha Motor India has lunched the new BS6 compliant Ray ZR 125 in India. Yamaha Ray ZR 125 is the Yamaha’s new-age styling commuter scooter from 125cc premium scooter range of Yamaha. The BS6 Yamaha Ray ZR 125 is a completely new model gets the stylish body panel with attractive colors options with bold body graphics. The new BS6 standard emission engine come with fuel injection system, Yamaha’s new Ray ZR comprises Stop & Start system, Smart Motor Generator for a quieter start-up and side stand engine cut-off function. BS6 Yamaha Ray ZR 125 come with an apron-mounted halogen headlight setup, Y-shaped LED position lights, digital instrument cluster, long or comfortable seat alloy wheels, tubeless tyres and Unified Braking System (UBS). The Street Rally variant equipped with additional benefits from knuckle guards, slightly different side panels and block pattern tyres. BS6 Yamaha Ray ZR 125 to be available in seven attractive colors options with bold body graphics and three variants including the base variant is drum brake, mid variant is disc brake, and top variant is street rally in India.

BS6 Yamaha Ray ZR 125 is powered by the all-new 125cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC, BS6 engine with fuel injection system that produces 8.2 Hp of power at 6500 rpm and 9.7 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission. The new BS6 standard emission engine come with Yamaha’s new Ray ZR comprises Stop & Start system, Smart Motor Generator for a quieter start-up and side stand engine cut-off function. The suspension duties managed by telescopic fork at the front and unit swing arm at the rear.
