Tata Motors brand has launched its first-ever pure electric car which is Tata Tigor EV. It is made available in mid-spec variants like XM and XT and in three exterior colour choices like silver, white and blue. This EV sedan is targetted towards the commercial, private owners and fleet operators in our country. It takes benefit from the FAME II subsidy scheme which is offered by the Indian government for electrically driven vehicles because of which it attracts Rs.1.62 lakhs subsidy. With its launch, the Tata Tigor EV goes up against the likes of the Mahindra eVerito that is India’s first electric sedan. Tata Tigor EV vs Mahindra eVerito Electric – Design
The all-new Tata Tigor EV receives almost the same features as its conventional counterpart except for its unique EV decals which are present on the front door. The bonnet comes sleek designed, whereas the door panels and fender are provided with stylish contours. Talking of the rear end, tailgate with chrome badging, the new bumper with cladding, high-mounted stop lamps and LED tail light is what makes this car a beauty.
On the other hand, Mahindra eVerito Electric car exteriors have body-coloured bumpers, door handles and outer rear view mirrors in all variants, and a front grille with chrome bottom bezel is featured in top variants, D4 and D6. The clear lens headlamps, side body cladding and the graphics with Verito Electric signature get it due attraction on the road.
