Honda Cars India has officially announced that the new Honda City will be launched in the country on July 15. After a slight delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Honda City will be sold in India alongside the 2019 Honda City. You can book the fifth-generation Honda City from your abode using the Honda from Home online sales platform or by visiting any authorized dealership of the automaker. Honda began production of the new model late last month, and it has already started accepting bookings for the midsize sedan.
Toyota’s new entrant in the C segment is the Yaris sedan and it will challenge popular models like the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Toyota Yaris stands as a very potent product and comes with everything that buyers in this segment are looking for. The design might not be for everyone’s liking but the amount of kit it offers along with its comfort levels, this vehicle had a genuine chance of succeeding in its segment.

Exterior:- Upcoming 2020 Honda City exteriors look elegant and modern and can be instantly recognized as a Honda due to its thick chrome band that runs across the grille and merges into the automatic LED headlamps which also comes with LED Daytime-Running Lamps. The side profile is elegant just like the previous generations of Honda City and comes with all-new diamond-cut alloy wheels. The rear of the Honda City looks fresh due to the new elongated LED tail-lamps. Honda has derived many cosmetic features from the Accord and Amaze.
On the other side, Toyota Yaris sedan comes heavily inspired by its more premium and larger sibling Corolla, which is already quite popular in India. It gets high-mounted sharp headlamps with projector units and LED DRL, chrome garnished front grille, arched roof and the large black air-dam inject a sporty flair in the sedan. The all-new Toyota Yaris measures shorter than its arch rivals like Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. However, the Yaris is wider than the two competitors. The Toyota Yaris measures 4,425 mm in length and 1,730 mm in width.
Interior:- The Honda City facelift interiors will be more premium than the current generation model. Honda is expected to use top-notch quality material inside the cabin and add more features to it to make it more desirable. While the sedan already offers a host of comfort and connectivity features, there could be some more added to the list. The dashboard has been kept the simplistic design with a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with vertically placed air conditioning vents. The new touchscreen infotainment system comes with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and in-built navigation.
Just like the exterior profile of the Yaris, the interiors are too design to look and feel very premium. The dashboard layout is simple and neat. There are no aggressive lines or creases. As mentioned the Yaris is aimed at a more mature buyer, someone who likes simple and sober things. Being a Toyota, this sedan comes with a top-notch material quality. Despite the use of plastics, the cabin still feels very premium. Being a mid-size sedan, it comes with loads of space, both in the front and at the back. The colour scheme is dual-tone of black and beige. Top-spec variants will get leather-wrapped steering wheel and upholstery.
