Kia Motors, the Korean carmaker company has revealed its upcoming crossover car “Xceed” at the event of 2020 Auto Expo this year. The Kia motors has launched its Seltos SUV car in India last year which got the massive hit on the market now company is decided and ready to launch with its new Car in the segment of crossover which is mainly dominated by Hyundai i20 since many years. It is a crossover car which truly inspired by Xceed hatchback. Kia motors has got the success through the Seltos now company wants to redeem its success by lattest offerings with big line-up of Cars in almost every segments right from hatchback, Sedan to SUVs.
Kia Xceed vs Hyundai i20 – Design
Exterior:- In terms of design, the Xceed looks like a jacked-up Xceed, but it does not share any body panels with said hatchback beyond the front doors. It sports black exterior body cladding, new headlights and tail-lights, a redesigned front bumper and grille, and a more muscular appearance. On the other hand, Hyundai i20 gets a classic look design which has aged gracefully or let’s say stylishly. The stylish headlights along with the family cascading grille gives it a very European look. On the sides, the Elite i20 gets one of the best-looking OEM alloys that are complimented by that stylish rising hipline. Overall, the Elite i20 is still one of the better-looking crossovers out there even amongst the newer competition.
Interior:- On the inside, the layout and build quality is identical to the Xceed hatchbacks. This translates to the cabin featuring soft-touch plastics, satin chrome trim inserts, a choice of cloth, synthetic and genuine leather upholstery options. The cabin also comes fitted with a 12.3-inch completely digital instrument cluster, an 8.0-inch infotainment system or a larger optional 10.25-inch infotainment system. The interior can also be optioned with the new yellow colour pack, which adds yellow inserts in the cabin and contrast yellow stitching on the seats and door cards. On another side, Hyundai i20 interiors still feel rather fresh. It’s a very clean layout and everything falls at hand easily. There is soft-touch padding around the arm rest and top half of the dash, supplemented by silver trim highlights on the centre console. The recent update is the addition of new buttons on the steering wheel and new trim colours.
