The all-new Mahindra Thar has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 9.80 lakh (ex-showroom, India). But After the launch Mahindra discontinued some variants of the new Thar due to low demand. The Mahindra Thar 2020 spotted undergoing testing on the public roads yet again. In the latest sighting, the off-roader has been snapped in the diesel automatic version. The prices for the Mahindra Thar AX variants now start at Rs. 12.79 lakh, going up to Rs. 15.09 lakh, all prices ex-showroom. The new Thar also comes with a new 2.0-litre petrol unit from Mahindra’s mStallion engine family, and it features direct injection as well as turbocharging. Gearbox options for the petrol will likely include 6-speed manuals and automatics. A four-wheel-drive system will be available with both engines.
Force Motors has finally launched its long-awaited 2021 Force Gurkha here with price tag of Rs. 13.59 lakhs (ex-showroom). It has been a long wait since it was first showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. Force only recently revealing the production-spec model. Bookings for the new off-roader have officially begun, and according to Force, its deliveries will commence from October 15. Due to COVID-19 pandemic it took more time to launch but finally new gen Force Gurkha is here just before the festive season.

Exterior:- Mahindra Thar 2020 has created quite a lot of buzz in recent times and has also been spotted on-tests several times in the past. The new-gen 2020 Thar looks broader than the previous model. Overall, it’s carry some of its iconic design characteristics such as the rounded headlamps, flat bonnet, brick-shaped rear lights (LEDs) and more. It is now also come with LED daytime running lights on the front fenders which make it look more modern and appealing. The 2020 Thar SUV gets 18-inch alloys and power-folding mirrors. The tweaks proportions enhance the bold image of the off-roader ensuring total attention whenever it is out for roads. The all-new Thar design and styling language gives the massive makeover at the same time.
The new Gurkha comes with some significant styling updates while retaining the same old school design. It gets new bumpers, new front grille with bold lettering, new headlamps with integrated DRLs, large rear windows, large rear windshield, new tail lamps, etc. Additionally, the company is also give it to the new Gurkha a fresh exterior design, which will still mimic the current model’s retro styling.
Interior:- From the Inside, the newly launched Mahindra Thar uses a fresh layout for the dashboard and top-spec trims to feature a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a colour multi-info display in the instrument cluster, a rear parking camera and multiple USB ports. Standard safety kit includes dual airbags, ABS and rear parking sensors. another major update seen in the form of front facing seats in the second row. This ensures more safety and space for the passengers at the back.
2021 Force Gurkha interior comes in a dark theme and looks much more practical than the barebones cabin of the outgoing model. It gets a new dashboard with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, new instrument cluster with MID, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, USB charging ports, 4 captain seats, etc. In terms of safety, Force is offering tyre pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors, dual front airbags, ABS, EBD and ISOFIX mounts.
