Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the much-awaited Jimny at the Auto Expo 2020. The model that has been showcased is the Suzuki Jimny Sierra which is being sold in Europe. It is expected to be renamed Gypsy in India as the previous model has a fanbase in the country. The price has not been confirmed yet, but it is expected to be priced around ₹10 lakh. It will be sold through the companies NEXA channel making it a premium offering from the manufacturer.
Upcoming 2020 Mahindra Thar was said to debut at Auto Expo 2020, but according to a new report, it will be unveiled later at a special event. Regardless of when it debuts, the launch won’t take place before April 2020, as Mahindra has said that all its next-gen products will be launched beginning in FY2021 now.

Exterior:- At the front, The fourth-gen Jimny sticks to script with a ladder-frame chassis, four-wheel drive and compact dimensions giving it tremendous ability off-road. It’s also the best-equipped Jimny yet with features like LED headlights, a touchscreen infotainment system and even heated front seats. The three-door rugged SUV has got the round headlamps with the bold grille. At the rear also, the retro feels of Gypsy can be felt.
The new Mahindra Thar design sees a lot of retro Mahindra Jeep cues, but will also get features like LED daytime running lights, LED tail lamps and some modern styling bits. It gets a higher-set front bumper with integrated fog lamps. Mahindra will continue to offer the new Thar with the side-opening rear door and spare tyre mount. Multiple variants are expected, with the higher trims getting large, 18-inch alloy wheels and a long list of creature comforts.

The model that has come to your shore is the bigger Suzuki Jimny Sierra, sold in Europe, instead of the shorter Kei car version of the SUV that is sold in Japan.
The new Mahindra Thar will be a lot more comfort-orientated and a lot less utilitarian than its predecessor. The interior is completely new; it gets a fresh dashboard layout and, for first time, a touchscreen infotainment system – expected to come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support and also double as a display for the reverse camera – and multiple USB outlets. The SUV will continue to get a manual HVAC system.
