Design & Features

The Ferrari 812 Superfast has been launched in India with a sticker price of Rs. 5.2 crores (ex-showroom) before options. The V12 powered GT replaces the F12 Berlinetta and is an evolution of the latter.

Exterior

Exterior design of the 812 Superfast is in line with Ferrari’s current design philosophy, it can also be told that the 812 Superfast looks like an evolution of the F12 Berlinetta. The long swooping bonnet, wide grille and the slim headlamps give the front fascia some attitude. While the side profile looks similar to the F12 Berlinetta, the rear gets four rounded tail-lights, well complemented by the quad tailpipes and a large diffuser in between. 

Interior

Inside the Car, the cabin has been radically redesigned to imbue it with an even sportier character. Light, compact volumes hug the contours of the interior structures to the extent that the latter are visible in certain areas. The beautifully crafted trimming both at the centre of the dash and around the glove compartment create the just right sense of Ferrari’s signature combination of the artisanal and the high tech.

Engine

The Ferrari 812 Superfast is powered by a 6.5-litre V12 engine that generates a massive 789bhp of power at 8500rpm with the peak torque of 718Nm which kicks in at about 7000rpm. The powerful engine comes mated a custom-built Getrag 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The rear-wheel drive vehicle is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100kmph in just about 2.9 seconds, while the top speed is restricted to 340kmph.
