Hero Electric has launched the new electric scooters Nyx ER in India. The Hero Electric Nyx ER is the electric scooters stands for Extended Range and Hero Electric says they’ve managed to do that by equipping them with dual lithium-ion batteries. The double lithium-ion batteries, which can be charged up to 100 percent full charge in just four hours, Hero Electric claims a range of over 100km and a battery life of up to five years with proper care and maintenance. The Nyx ER is designed to suit the needs of small businesses, e-commerce delivery executives and e-bike rentals.

The Hero Electric Nyx ER will come with a 600W BLDC electric motor with a 48V single-battery pack. The new electric scooter will continue to offer the same performance and top-speed of 40km/h as the standard. The scooter now claims a range of 100km, with the batteries taking up to four hours to charge up completely. Hero Electric offers a standard 3-year warranty on the Optima ER electric scooters, including the batteries.
