Hero Hunk facelift launched in India at Rs 69,725

The Hero Hunk facelifted has been launched in India at Rs 69,725 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 150cc commuter motorcycle will be available in two variants – single disc and double disc, with the latter being priced at Rs 72,825 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

In terms of power, the Hero Hunk facelift has been updated with a 150cc air-cooled single-cylinder unit that is now tuned to produce 15.6 BHP of power at 8500 RPM and 13.50 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM, paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Other mechanical bits remain the same with a telescopic unit at the front and a twin shock setup at the rear while braking performance comes from double discs available as optional.

The new Hunk has already arrived at showrooms hinting towards an imminent launch and we expect the automaker to make an announcement very soon. The Hero Hunk will be rivalling a host of offerings in the segment ranging from the Suzuki Gixxer, Bajaj Pulsar 150, Yamaha FZ-S as well as the upcoming Honda CB Hornet 160R.

Besides these, the new Hero hunk also gets a new viscous air filter and inverted GRS gas-charged suspension, with five-step preload adjustability. There is no change in the dimensions or the kerb weight of the motorcycle, which indicates that there hasn’t been any major change in the bike’s mechanicals.
