The Honda Shine is a motorcycle developed by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI). It was introduced in India in 2006. It is a 125 cc motorcycle. November 19, 2015: Honda has finally launched its much awaited 125cc mystery bike – CB Shine SP (Smart Power) today. CB Shine SP is an updated version of existing CB Shine and is company’s 14th offering in 2015.

Honda CB Shine SP Overview : The new CB Shine SP is a positive approach for the conservative design strategy of the HMSI. The newcomer seems to be more focused on young riders, fascinating their dream bike with the engine of the most selling 125cc bike in India. The Shine SP comes with sporty touches all around its body. The rear end is sharp and more youthful than the normal CB Shine whereas the seat has been kept the same for better comfort of both the riders. The Honda CB Shine SP is a premium offering from HMSI in the 125cc space, with stylish new design features and Honda’s Combined Braking System. The versions currently being offered are the STD, DLX and CBS.

Honda CB Shine SP Specifications : Honda CB Shine SP is propelled by the same 124.7cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled motor with Honda Eco Technology that is being used in the current  version of CB Shine. The mill of the bike is linked to a 5-speed gearbox transmission system and churns out a maximum power of 10.57 Bhp at 7500 rpm along with a peak torque of 10.3 Nm at 5500 rpm. It uses a viscous paper filter to filter the air. It has a compression ration of 9.2:1 and bore x stroke ratio of 52.4 mm x 57.8 mm.
