Honda CRV 7 Seater – Overview

The Honda CR-V in its current avatar (generation-3) has been on sale in the Indian market since early 2013 with no major updates. Now Honda all set for launch New 7 seater CR-V in India, the company will also display the 2018 Honda CR-V and the current-generation Honda Civic at the 2018 Auto Expo. Furthermore, both these cars will make way into the Indian market sooner than expected.

The new 2018 Honda CRV will offer two engine options – 2.4-litre Petrol and 1.6-litre Diesel. This will be the first time that Honda will offer the CRV SUV with a Diesel engine option. The new 1.6-litre iDTEC Diesel engine will come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. There will be an option of a ZF-sourced 9-speed automatic transmission. The new 1.6-litre iDTEC Diesel engine will be locally produced at Honda’s Tapukara facility in Rajasthan.
