Honda Jazz Overview

Introduced back in 2009 Honda “Jazz” was in its second generation globally. The car was running a petrol only. Honda’s Jazz is one of the most practical hatchbacks ever. The Japanese automaker has re-introduced the new Jazz in its new avatar. The new Jazz is based on the Honda City platform and it does share a lot of bits with the premium sedan. The Honda Jazz retains its practicality and flexibility with this generation as well. The new Jazz is powerful, spacious and feature loaded. It is offered with a 1.2-litre petrol engine and this time it has even been introduced with a 1.5-litre diesel engine as well. This makes the Jazz a great hatchback to procure in the premium hatch segment. 

Honda Jazz Specification

Honda is offering the Jazz with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that churns about 88bhp of power and 110Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission and even CVT. The Honda Jazz’s other engine is the 1.5-litre diesel one that churns about 98bhp of power and 200Nm of peak torque. This comes with a six-sped manual transmission.

Honda Jazz Exterior

The Honda Jazz looks stylish and sporty. It has a similar front grille like the City, however the thick chrome is replaced by a black one to make it look sporty. The Honda Jazz comes with 15-inch alloy wheels, blacked out B and C pillars and turn indicators on the ORVMs. The glass area is large on the Jazz and this makes the cabin feel airy. The tail lamps are elongated and are LEDs, this makes it look stylish and trendy.

Honda Jazz Interior

Cabin space is generous, allowing five adults to be accommodated comfortably. The front as well as rear sides of the hatchback offer ample space. There are nine cup holders inside the cabin, which makes it a very practical cabin in terms of usage. The magic seats affixed in the rear can be folded flat, flipped upwards and split whenever required. Besides, the seats can be used as a recliner by pushing the front seat backrest fully.
