Honda launches Brazil fuel injected CG125i motorcycle

Honda motorcycles Brazil has launched the CG125i for the Brazilian market at 6,790 Real (Rs 1.12 lakh).

This means that the Honda CG 125i adopts an electronic injection unit in place of the old carburettor. Honda has revealed that sales for the new bike will start in February and it will cost 702 Real (Rs 11,667) over the carburetted version. A gain of 0.2bhp is registered with the fuel injected 124.7cc, single-cylinder air cooled OHC engine that now delivers 11.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 1.06Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. A five-speed gearbox helps transfer power to the wheels.

Visually, the CG125i looks slightly different with the fresh lines on the fuel tank and a redesigned exhaust. 130mm drum brakes continue to be used on both ends and are supported by the 80/100 R18 tyre in the front and the 90/90 R18 one at the rear. Honda’s CG125i will be sold exclusively in black and red colours only.
