The Hyundai i20 Active has been a strong seller in the crossover segment in India and it was at the Auto Expo 2018 that we first saw the facelift of the car and the company has finally launched it in India. The new Hyundai i20 Active Facelift prices remain the same as before, the base petrol trim costs Rs. 7.06 lakhs while the top end diesel variant is priced at Rs. 10.07 lakhs (Both Prices in Ex-Showroom New Delhi).

2018 Hyundai i20 Active

Exterior:

The refreshed Hyundai i20 Active gets a new dual-tone Marina Blue and Polar White paint scheme and new front grille and revised rear bumpers while the tail lights too are all-new and so is the hatch lid design. The front bumper wears a silver bull bar-like strip and there are silver surrounds on the front and rear fog lamps with a matte black strip at the bottom of the boot lid. Of course there are the LED DRLs that give the i20 Active a unique look.

Interior:

Inside the Car, There are a bunch of changes inside the cabin too. There’s a new grayscale-themed infotainment system similar to what we’ve seen on the Hyundai i20. There’s a dash of blue on the side AC vents, seats and gear knob, which changes according to the colour of the car. The upholstery remains similar to the one on the i20

Specification:

Mechanically, the updated i20 Active remains unchanged. It continues to draw power from a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.4-litre diesel motor. The 1.2-litre petrol makes 83 PS of power and 115 Nm of torque while the 1.4-litre oil-burner churns out 90 PS of power and 220 Nm of torque. The petrol powertrain comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission while the diesel mill gets a 6-speed manual gearbox.
