MG Motors, the British car maker going to launch upcoming MPV car named “MG G10” in India very soon confirmed and also unveiled in Auto Expo 2020. The company wants a piece of the Indian MPV segment pie and an established product under the SAIC umbrella. It was revealed just a day after the launch of the Kia Carnival MPV and is likely to be the Kia’s rival in India. A large people carrier, the G10 has several useful features that we haven’t seen in this segment yet. Kia Carnival vs MG G10 – Design

Exterior:- From the Outside, Kia Carnival is looks more premium compare to any other MPVs in India.    The Carnival’s profile is dominated by a clean design but there are plenty of elements to bring out the vehicle’s sporty appeal. It gets a shorter front overhang which has allowed the carmaker to increase the MPV’s wheelbase to free up more space for the occupants. There’s a bold character line running along the length of the car, linking the front and rear lamps. The Carnival also gets a luxury design for the alloy wheels, a unique ‘island roof’ design. The chrome fin wrapped beneath the rear window extends towards the tailgate and is finished with a subtle diamond pattern.

On the other hand, MG’s G10 MPV gets the luxury design language inspired by British cars. The G10 design doesn’t stray far away from that of Maxus G10’s. The MPV gets a triple-slat chrome grille flanked by wing-shaped swept-back headlamp cluster with projector setup and DRLs. The profile sports a clean design with large glass area, a character line running along the length, the MPV, and alloy wheels. MG G10’s rear gets large split tail lights with LED treatment.

Interior:- The MG G10 MPV is 5,168mm long, 1,980mm wide and 1,928mm high, which makes it even larger than the Kia Carnival MPV that’s just gone on sale in India. The MG has traditional MPV proportions, with a defined bonnet, a large cabin and an upright tail, while styling is neat and simple. More chrome embellishments and snazzier wheels wouldn’t go amiss, however. Powered, sliding rear doors are part of the package but MG has done well to conceal the door rails under the rear windows.
