All-new Kia Sonet subcompact SUV from the South Korean carmaker has finally made its global debut in India. It’s the second ‘made-in-India’ model from Kia in the country, following the Kia Seltos. The carmaker says that the Sonet “has a distinctive and dynamic design” along with several first-in-segment features. Third product from Kia to be launched in India, the Sonet official reveal confirms what we have seen earlier. The car also showcased earlier this year at the Auto Expo 2020. The company aiming to recreate the same success as like Seltos in the compact-SUV segment. While the new sub-four metre SUV will be made in India and has design details inspired by Indian culture. Kia Motors will also be using its plant at Anantapur, Hyderabad as an export base for International markets.

Kia Sonet SUV – Exterior:
From the Exterior, Stylish is the first word that comes to mind when we see the car. Its “tiger nose” radiator grille with the “stepwell” geometric mesh, work well to give it that distinctive face. Headlights are LED with DRLs, while the fog lamps are projector units, placed near the lower air dam that has got faux skid plate and a couple of air intake-like elements that seem to be blocked. Down the sides, there are roof rails, blacked out roof, A and B pillars, 16-inch alloys, while at the back the LED taillight cluster stretches the entire width of the car. The bumper is deep and it gets a diffuser-like plastic element too.

Inside of the Car, the Kia Sonet is likely to impress the new-age buyers in this area as well. In terms of feature, ambience and quality, all the aspects of the Kia Sonet’s interior is made to appeal to the ‘young at heart’ customers. You get an extended black panel which houses the 4.2-inch semi-digital instrument cluster and the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system as well. The infotainment unit, not only features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, but also gets UVO remote connectivity software with 57 connected features. Along with starting the car or starting up the AC from your smartphone, you can even operate certain functions using your smartwatch.
