1. Bajaj V22

After the great response of Bajaj V15, Bajaj recently launch new model Bajaj V12. Now Bajaj planning to bring another V brand motorcycle, company already selling two models of under the V brand including Bajaj V12 and Bajaj V15. Bajaj V22 could be the next model to join the V series. Bajaj V22 will be the above of them in terms of position. while the company still not talking about the new model. Expectedly it will be share engine with Pulsar 220.

The new motorcycle is expected to use the Pulsar engine and is expected to be powered by a 220cc oil engine that churns out a maximum power output of 21.05PS at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 19.12Nm at 7,000rpm. The power will be transmitted to the rear wheels with a 5-speed gearbox.

2. Hero Xtreme 200R (Launched)

Being a world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Company ready to move into the growing 200cc sports bike segment. This is a very much awaited and popular motorcycle in India, people are waiting for it since long time. Hero already showcased Xtreme 200r at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. However, the upcoming 200cc Xtreme model could launch during the Auto Expo 2018 in February next year. This bike has long list of its rivals once launch it like TVS Apache RTR 4V Fi and Bajaj Pulsar 200NS Fi.

The Hero Xtreme 200R likely to get an air-cooled, single cylinder 200cc engine with 18.6PS and 17.2Nm torque. Transmission duties will be carried out by the 5-speed gearbox, Conventional front forks upfront and a mono suspension at the rear perform the suspension duties. Braking is courtesy of disc brakes at both front and rear wheels. The Xtreme 200R will become the first Hero bike in India to have ABS.

3. Bajaj Pulsar 180NS

Bajaj recently launched Pulsar 200NS in the market and now focussing on 180cc segment. While the company enjoying the success of Pulsar 160NS and 200NS, Company yet tight-lipped on the any information about 180NS secret. Bajaj Pulsar 180NS is one of highly awaited bikes in India under Rs. 1 lack. This naked street-fighter already seen many times on the roads of Maharashtra. Expected bikes looks will be similar to 200NS and sharing lots of feature with its elder sibling. Once it launched it will rival direct to TVS Apache 180 in the Market.

The upcoming Pulsar NS180 is likely to feature a four-valve, liquid-cooled engine with triple spark technology. This motor should produce 19 to 21bhp of power and 16Nm of torque. The company is expected to underpin the motorcycle by a perimeter frame, boasting of 50:50 weight distribution. The new engine might be mated to a five-speed gearbox.

4. Hero Impulse

Impulse was a first off-road bike from Hero in India that gained popularity for its engine performance in the recent Past. Sadly, it failed to capture the Indian customer’s attention being a good product. The lack of power was a major reason why the Impulse failed to draw the attention of enthusiasts. Considering this, Hero is evaluating possibilities to bring in a more powerful version of the bike in future. It is likely to come with a new 23bhp, 200cc or a 30bhp, 250cc petrol unit supported by the five-speed manual gearbox.

The Impulse 250 might share the power-train with the HX250R. The four-stroke single cylinder liquid-cooled 249cc engine churns out 31bhp and peak torque of 26Nm, though it might be retuned to suit the purpose of an adventure motorcycle. And while the HX250R will get a six-speed transmission, the Impulse 250 might have to make do with a five-speed gearbox. To handle all the extra power, Hero might also have to develop new front and rear suspension as well as equip the bike with bigger brakes.
