Hero Motocorp Ltd, also known as Hero Honda before the separation. Hero is also largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the world. Hero has share of 44% in the two-wheeler category in India. Hero started their journey with Japan’s Honda Motor company as a joint venture in 1984. In 2010 both company director decided for separation. Now Hero is leading two-wheeler company in India.

Bajaj plans to introduce ‘401’ series of Husqvarna motorcycles in India. Bajaj will launch the Husqvarna brand in Auto Expo 2018. Also, manufacturing will be carried out in Bajaj’s Chakan production facility. The Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 are based on the 2017 KTM Duke. They share the frame, engine and brake components with the Duke 390. The bikes will be powered by a single-cylinder 373.2cc engine that churns out 43 BHP of power and 37 NM of torque with 6-speed gearbox.

The bike is powered by a three cylinder, 4-stroke 675cc engine. This DOHC engine produces a peak power of 126 bhp at 14400 rpm. The torque output of this 12 valve engine is of 71 Nm which arrives at 10600 rpm.
