Mahindra has introduced the Gusto Special Edition and the scooter now comes with a dual-tone paint job offered on the VX trim.
The Mahindra Gusto Special Edition is offered in a dual-tone paint job. The company offers two colours with this special edition – Silver Magenta and Ice Cool Red and quite frankly, the dual-tone schemes look nothing but hideous and the Gusto looks good in its original colours only. The company is also offering free insurance to buyers of their entry-level scooter. The special edition is offered only in the VX trim and it is priced at Rs. 49,350/-. The regular VX trim is priced at Rs. 48,850/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Mahindra Gusto continues to be powered by the same 109.6cc air-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine that churns out 8 BHP of power at 7500 RPM and 9 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. The engine comes with a CVT transmission and the Gusto has an ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency figure of 63 km/l. The Gusto recently entered the top 10 selling scooters list and is behind the Honda Aviator by only 100 units which is quite a feat
