Mahindra company have upped one step in their SUV game with the launch of the petrol version flagship SUV, the XUV500. At Rs 15.49 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

Mahindra has finally launched the petrol variant of the XUV500 in India. However, for now, The introduction of a petrol engine in the XUV500 line-up will boost Mahindra’s petrol range. The petrol XUV500 will be available only in a few select cities right away and will be offered across the nation in a phased manner, depending upon the demand.
Design and Features
According to Design it is same, So we should talk about it’s Features. The XUV500 petrol comes equipped with features similar to its diesel counterpart, which includes a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, cruise control, push button start, and an eight-way adjustable driver seat. Safety features include ESP with rollover mitigation, dual airbags and ABS with EBD.

The petrol powered XUV500 is launched in a single G variant with an automatic transmission. Under the hood is a new 2.2-litre mHawk four-cylinder gasoline engine that generates 140bhp of power at 3750rpm and 320Nm of max torque between 1800-2800rpm. The transmission is a six-speed automatic sending power to the front wheels only. The transmission is sourced from the Japanese gearbox manufacturer AISIN.
