Two Indian automobile companies Tata and Mahindra have started manufacturing SUV’s  like Aria and XUV 500 which are affordable along with it they are equipped with lots of features and made according to the taste and preference of Indian consumer.

Mahindra XUV 500 – Engine:

Mahindra XUV 500 has 2179cc mHawk engine that also powers the Mahindra Scorpio and now even the Xylo. The common rail diesel engine produces 140bhp which is enough to cruise the XUV500 on road or off-road. Most noteworthy is the torque which is 330Nm that lets the new SUV to move around easily even in snail-paced city traffic.

Tata Aria is powered by the 16-valve 2.2-litre Dicor diesel engine which generates 138 Bhp of power at 4000rpm and 320 Nm of torque at 1700rpm. It also features the Variable Turbine Technology (VVT) and is equipped with a twin overhead camshaft with 32-bit ECU. The switch from two-wheel-drive to four-wheel-drive.

Tata Aria – Exteriors:

Tata Aria exterior dimensions include – length is 4780mm, width is 1895mm and height is 1780mm. Tata Aria’s large wheelbase of 2850mm and good ground clearance of 200mm prove its off-roading capability. The front and rear track of Tata Aria are 1580mm and 1550mm respectively.

Tata Aria has electronically variable and foldable ORVMs, cap auto lift, gear lighting and charging point in the boot space, auto climate control, sun-visor extenders, etc.
