Mahindra XUV500 facelift – Overview
After launch Updated Scorpio last month, Mahindra is all set to launch XUV500 facelift version in India. Recently, the updated XUV500 was spotted testing in India. And from the spy shots, it is safe to say that the new SUV looks quite similar to the existing version. At the front, it gets a new grill though, but that again is flanked by same old headlamps. The front bumper has also been redesigned and it now houses a refreshed air dam along with new fog lamp housing.

The engine will be the same 2.2-litre mHawk diesel, however it will now get a bump in power from 140bhp to 170bhp. This will make a lot of difference in the way this SUV will perform.We expect the 2018 XUV500 to feel much more punchier this time. The transmission options will be the same, however. This will include a six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmissions. There will also be an option of a 4×4.

Exterior
The new Mahindra XUV500 facelift will come with a more powerful diesel motor & several cosmetic design upgrades.
The Mahindra XUV500 facelift will come with minor changes to the exterior. This will include an all-new front grille. This will make the SUV look more aggressive. The headlamps will also be new. They will have a twin barrel projector lamps. The LED daytime running light will be embedded inside and this will also be a new design. Earlier it used to be in an ‘S’ shape, but this tim it will be at the top of the headlamp.
Interior
The interiors of the Mahindra XUV500 2018 will not see many changes. The dashboard layout will be similar. It will get the newly added touch-screen system with advanced features like Android auto and Eco-sense. The instrument cluster and the steering wheel will also be the same. What will change are the seat fabrics and the leather upholstery. The interior colour theme will also be new and will make the inside look plush and more premium.
