MG Motor India has unveiled its luxury SUV GLOSTER at the Auto Expo 2020 earlier this year for the Indian market along with luxury G10 MPV. The MG Gloster is a full-size, three-row SUV that is poised to occupy the top position in MG Motor India’s portfolio, even above the upcoming Hector Plus. The name ‘Gloster’ is inspired by a British jet-engine aircraft prototype & the name is a nod to great British engineering. These new models are scheduled to be launched in the domestic market later this year, the company said. The Gloster will be offered with high levels of personalisation and will be available in 6 and 7 seat configurations. The Gloster is a full-size SUV which will rival the likes of Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

Visually, The MG Gloster SUV looks huge in white, notice the dominating front grille, covers 80 percent of the front fascia. The side profile makes it look huge thanks to the simple and straight shoulder line and big wheel arches. The alloys look rugged and the windows are sizeable. It gets chrome highlights on the ORVMs, door handles and roof rails. The lower half of the Gloster gets black cladding all around adding to the big SUV appeal. The rear reminds us of the Mitsubishi Outlander tail lights. Notice the quad exhaust tips, looks premium.

Inside of the Car, the Gloster should offer class-leading cabin space, at least on paper. Though MG hasn’t revealed the interiors of the India-bound model, the global D90 gets a tastefully designed cabin with plush materials. As such, it is expected to share a considerable amount of kit with the international model, which gets LED adaptive headlights, LED DRLs, a panoramic sunroof, heated wing mirrors and a gesture controlled tailgate.
