Skoda has launched the Rapid Rider Plus variant with a price tag of Rs. 7.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, pan-India).
Skoda has launched a new variant for the Rapid TSI, the Rider Plus. Priced at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the new variant is positioned below the mid-spec Ambition and gets some additional features, paint and trim options over the Rapid Rider. The new Rider Plus gets styling elements on the outside and inside. The high demand of the Skoda Rapid Rider variant meant that Skoda can afford to jack up the price. But the price hike of the base model also brings a few extra features. In terms of performance, the car gets the punchy 999cc 3-cylinder 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine that produces 110 PS and 175 Nm of torque. It comes mated to the same 6-speed transmission as on the entire range and offers economy figures of 18.97 km/h

2020 Skoda Rapid Rider Plus – Exterior
The design of the car has not changed, but a few tasteful bits have been added to the exterior of the car. They include decorative side foils, glossy black decor on the B pillars, trunk lip garnish as well as new window chrome garnish. The 2020 Skoda Rapid Rider Plus gets the following new features for the additional price of Rs. 50,000: a touchscreen infotainment system and a wider selection of exterior colours, the car is still well priced. Amidst rivals, the base Maruti Ciaz Sigma is the closest, at Rs 8.32 lakh, but that too misses out on some equipment like alloy wheels, auto climate control, fog lamps, driver seat height adjust and a touchscreen infotainment system. So, the Rider Plus is still good value for money.

Also, the revolutionary Climatronic technology along with dust and pollen filter adds to the comfort and convenience.
