Suzuki GSX-R1000 Overview :- The Suzuki GSX-R1000 is a liter-class, super sports motercycle from Suzuki’s GSX-R series. It was firstly introduced in 2001 and now it is one of the most expensive sports motorcycle in India which has its own status. Its style and looks are more aggressive. The bike has a very big and pointed headlight, splittable seat, analogue tachometer which also houses a LCD for gear shift indicator, digital speedometer, fuel gauge, odometer, trip meter, tubeless tyres, alloy wheels, electric start facility etc. It has naked look when seen from the back. It comes with traction control and ABS which are standard and selectable power outputs are available via Suzuki’s S-DMS ( Suzuki Drive mode selector ) system. The gear transitions are also very fast and impressive and the bike can move at slow speed without any hassle in any gear. It is a wide bike built on a twin-spar frame made of cast aluminium alloy which gives a nice sense of control and space to the rider. Its attacking looks and intense performance is so impressive which will attract the rider who likes speed with style. The rider will enjoy its sporty ride and handling but the cost is not affordable for every one.

This liquid cooled engine produces power output of 160 bhp at 9500 rpm and maximum torque output of this DOHC engine is of 110 nm at 8000 rpm. This engine is equipped with a six-speed gearbox with a gear shift pattern of one gear down and five gears up. The front suspension is of Inverted telescopic, coil spring, oil damped and rear suspension is of Link type, coil spring, oil damped. The fuel tank capacity is 17.50 litres and weight is of 203 kg. The front brake is of 310mm Double disc type and rear brake is of 220mm single disc type. It has 120/70 ZR17 tyre at the front and a 190/50 ZR17 tyre at the rear.
