2021 Toyota Fortuner has been spied while the SUV was undergoing testing on Indian roads. The facelifted model was unveiled in Thailand in June, 2020. The 2021 Toyota Fortuner spied here is the standard variant, the other being Legender, and gets subtle changes. This is the first update of the second-generation Fortuner since its official launch in 2015 in the global markets. Whether India will get both standard and Legender variants of the 2021 Toyota Fortuner facelift isn’t known yet. The launch here should take place by early 2021. Much depends on how quickly Toyota Kirloskar Motor is able to get rid of the old model’s stock given the unpredictability in the market owing to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Toyota Fortuner 2021 – Exterior:
A new grille flanked by thick chrome strips on either side, LED headlights with DRLs, fog lights, LED blinkers integrated into the lower half of the bumper and a big skid plate can be seen. At the sides, one can see chrome garnish on the window line and chrome door handles, prominent wheel arch plastic cladding, 18-inch diamond cut alloys, roof rails and foot board. The rear of the car will also see revised styling with sharp creases, revised bumper and a skid plate to protect the body.
Toyota Fortuner 2021 – Interior:
The 2021 Toyota Fortuner facelift and the Toyota Fortuner Legend both have the same interior design. Compared to the old Toyota Fortuner, the design isn’t new. New features on board are new Optitron meter with a 4.2-inch MID, wireless charger (in the Legend variant), new ambient lighting (in the Legend variant), bigger and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system (in the Legend variant). Whether India will get bot standard and Legender variants of the 2021 Toyota Fortuner facelift isn’t known.
