Toyota motors of India is all set to launch its upcoming Vitara Brezza based-Urban Cruise SUV coming to next couple of months. After the Toyota Glanza hatchback, the Urban Cruiser will be the second rebadged Maruti Suzuki product under Toyota & Suzuki global partnership. It will get the same 1.5-litre petrol with mild-hybrid tech, choice of manual and automatic transmissions and a similar feature set as its Maruti donor. However, we expect a comparatively comprehensive warranty on the Urban Cruiser and a slightly higher starting price as it will have limited variant lineup.

Toyota Urban Cruiser – Exterior
Visually, the upcoming subcompact SUV from Toyota will look significantly different from the Vitara Brezza. While official details are yet to be revealed, it’s likely to receive newly-designed grille and front and rear bumpers. In order to achieve competitive pricing, the carmaker might use differently designed headlamps and taillamps and alloy wheels.
Toyota Urban Cruiser – Interior
The interior of the Toyota Urban Cruiser will be redone as well. It will get new lighter colour tones than the Brezza and new graphics. Toyota’s version of the compact SUV is likely to be offered with more features as well. Alongside, Toyota will offer touchscreen infortainment system in its line-up.
