The British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph is planning to introduce the all new Scrambler 1200 in India. Triumph has lunched the Scrambler 1200 XC and Street Scrambler 1200 XE likely to be launched here in last 2019 in Indian bike market. Triumph Scrambler 1200 range have been showcased at the 2018 EICMA show in Milan Italy. Triumph Scrambler 1200 come with loaded features include LED lights for the headlamp and other auxiliary lamps, a full-colour TFT screen for the instrument cluster with Bluetooth function and knuckle guards. The Triumph Scrambler 1200 is an integrated GoPro control allowing the rider to click photos or record videos via the bike’s switchgear. The Scrambler 1200 is an all-new offering from Triumph. Triumph Scrambler 1200 will be available in two variants: the base XC and a higher-spec XE.

Triumph Scrambler 1200 Specifications:

Triumph Scrambler 1200 is powered by a 1200cc parallel-twin engine that produces 89 Bhp of peak power at 7400 rpm and 110 Nm of peak torque at 3950 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission with a torque-assist clutch. The 1200 XC gets 200 mm suspension travel at both the rear and front, while the XE gets 250 mm suspension travel. The Showa front fork on the XC is a 45 mm upside down fork, while the XE gets a 47 mm upside down fork with gold anodised finish. The Braking is handled by dual front 320 mm discs on the front wheel gripped by Brembo M50 monobloc calipers and a single 255 mm disc on the rear wheel, gripped by a Brembo two-piston floatin caliper. Both bikes get switchable ABS, but the XE trim goes a step further and offer switchable cornering ABS, powered by an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU).

A 6-speed gearbox is the obvious choice for this sort of motorcycle and it comes equipped with a torque-assist clutch that is low-speed friendly and adds a small amount of slippage when downshifting. The Triumph Scrambler 1200 is an integrated GoPro control allowing the rider to click photos or record videos via the bike’s switchgear.
