The much awaited TVS Apache RTR 200 4V finally launched Fi version in India at the price of Rs 1.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
TVS full-fill the demand of their customers by launch of Fuel Injected variant today. TVS already launched earlier Apache 200cc but lack of Fuel Injected technology its not surviving perfectly in the market. But still its lacking of ABS in the motorbike, The Fi variants is available only for selected cities in India.
The Fi4V is powered by the same 197.7cc motor as on the carburetted variant, and now produces 21hp at 8,500rpm. While the 0.95hp hike seems minor, the positive implications of the noticeably refined, fuel-injected motor will definitely attract more enthusiasts. The RTR 200 Fi4V produces 18.1Nm of torque at 7,000rpm, and TVS claims a 0 to 100kph dash in 3.9sec and a top speed of 129kph – both equally impressive figures.
It has a better acceleration, and a much smoother performance. In numbers, the Apache 200 with FI does 0-60 kmph in 3.9 seconds, while the one with Carb does it in 3.95 second. 0-100 kmph is achieved in 12 seconds by both motorcycles.
