Yamaha Ray ZR Overview: Yamaha Motors India lunched the all new scooter Ray ZR in India. The new scooter Ray ZR that is targeted at young male buyers in Indian market. Ray ZR is the concept of a ‘Next Generation Real Boy’s scooter in India. Ray ZR come with the Yamaha’s Blue Core technology, the Blue Core aided motor promises a better combustion efficiency along with an improved fuel economy and better performance. The new Ray ZR come with a stylish looks with several sporty elements like the sharp lines, accentuated side panels, dual-tone color scheme and trendy body graphics. The alloy wheels and all-black finished exhaust adding the young touch and sporty looks. The scooter also offers a 21-litre under seat storage space option, enough to accommodate a full-face helmet and then even some space is left for other valuables and a optional USB charging point. Yamaha Motors India will be offered in two variants of Ray ZR, standard variant with drum brake and disc brake variant.

Yamaha Ray ZR Specification: Ray ZR is powered by a 113cc, single cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke, 2-valve, SOHC engine with Blue Core technology. It generate maximum power 7 Bhp at 7500 Rpm and maximum torque of 8.1 Nm at 5000 Rpm. Ray ZR which uses the Yamaha’s Blue Core technology in order to provide refined the performance and and also increases the mileage. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission. The scooter front brake come with two option one is 170 mm hydraulic single disc brake and another is mechanical leading trailing drum brake and mechanical leading trailing drum brake at rear end. The front suspension is telescopic fork and rear suspension is unit swing. It has a fuel tank of 5.2 liters and it weights around disk brake model 103 kg and drum brake model 103 kg.
