Yamaha yzf r25 vs Kawasaki Ninja 300

Yamaha is been in recent times has building up a lot for new bikes yzf r25 which got recently launched in Indonesia and you can expect the bikes to be launched in India soon as the more and more people wants to own a powerful good looking sports bike. In India wnhe yzf r25 will be launched it will face direct competition from the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300. 

Lets compare the two bikes 

 The addition in a Yzf family R25  comes with a liquid-cooled, 249cc inline twin that belts out 35.5bhp at a rather shouty 12,000rpm, and 22.6Nm of torque. A six-speed manual gearbox is standard, as are disc brakes front and back.

In comparison Kawasaki Ninja 300 comes with a 296cc liquid cooled parallel twin cylinders that belts out 39bhp at a @11,000rpm and 27Nm torque.  

R25 is precariously close and lags with just 3 horses less. However, in terms of torque, it is comprehensively beaten with a greater than 5Nm difference.

R25 is 6 kg lighter then the counterpart ninja 300 which weighs 172 kg and R25 comes with a fairly good ground clearance of 160mm  in comparison to ninja 300 125mm which should reduce your under-fairing breaking charges. The R25 also gets the most modern instrumentation cluster. It is surely going to be an exciting product to look out for.  

Price

 R25 comes in Only three paint options – red, black and blue – will be available in Indonesia when the bike is launched there in the month of July, at a price of 53 million Indonesian rupiah. That’s Rs 2.70 lakh for us but Kawasaki Ninja is available in India with ex showroom price of rs 3,30,000.  Both the bikes ill in India through CKD route thats why it costs that much.
