Design and Features
Ducati has announced the start of bookings for the new Panigale V4 in India. The new Ducati Panigale V4 will be available in two variants; the Panigale V4 and the Panigale V4 S with an introductory price of Rs. 20.53 lakhs for the standard trim and Rs. 25.29 lakhs for the S grade (both prices, ex-showroom, pan-India). While bookings for the exotic motorcycle have commenced, only 20 units have been allotted to India, for the year 2018. Bookings made before 31st May, And the first two Panigale V4 customers will get a sponsored Ducati Riding Experience racetrack course which will be held in June 2018 in Malaysia.

Engine
The Panigale V4 is the first production Ducati motorcycle to be equipped with a four-cylinder engine derived from the MotoGP Desmosedici. This Desmosedici Stradale engine is a 1,103cc, 90 degree V4 producing 214hp at 13,000rpm and 124Nm at 10,000rpm. The kerb weight down to 198kg and the V4 S to 195kg. This weight, combined with the 214hp, means a power/weight ratio of 1.1hp/kg, putting the Panigale V4 S at the top of its segment.
