Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the 2018 version of the new Activa 125 in India.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the 2018 version of the Activa 125 with a host of new updates. The new Activa 125 receives an LED headlight, a redesigned semi-digital instrument console with an eco-mode and service due indicator, four-in-one ignition, and a separate switch to open the seat and there is now the option of adding a 12V charging socket under the seat. The major change is a mechanical one the rear suspension is now gets a 3-step adjustable monoshock unit at the back, while the telescopic fork at front is similar to the older model. Three variants make up the new 2018 Activa 125 range the base model has steel wheels and drum brakes. The next variant has alloy wheels and drum brakes, and the top-spec variant has alloy wheels and a front disc brake. All three offer CBS linked brakes as standard.

2018 Honda Activa 125 Specification:

Honda Activa 125 has got a 124.9cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, SI engine with a maximum power of 8.6 Bhp at 6,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.12 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The company is also claiming to provide a class-leading fuel economy with this new machine. The engine is mated to a V-Matic transmission system that makes easier for riders to simply twist the throttle and enjoy a joyous ride. The major change is a mechanical one the rear suspension is now gets a 3-step adjustable monoshock unit at the back, while the telescopic fork at front is similar to the older model.. The Activa 125 is equipped with Honda’s Combi Brake System (CBS) with an Equaliser system. What this Equaliser does is balances the braking inputs on both the wheels and thereby reducing stopping distances and keeps the balance maintained.
