German German luxury car company Audi has launched a new A8L sedan car in the Indian market. The price of the new-generation Audi A8L is Rs 1.29 crore. The car has been introduced in two variants – Celebration Edition and Technology Edition. The ex-showroom price of the Technology Edition is Rs 1.57 crore. The company had started booking this luxury car in August last year itself. In India, only its long-wheelbase model has been launched in the market so far. In the Indian market, it will compete with cars like Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series, Jaguar XJ L and Lexus LS500h.
Audi A8 L Sedan: Exterior Design
The A8 L gets a new grille with mesh pattern and the new A8 L also gets digital matrix LED headlamps. The 19-inch turbine design alloy wheels have been given in this sedan. The rear styling gets new OLED tail-lamps with light signature changeover via Drive Select Dynamic mode. In terms of the flagship luxury sedan, it gets a recliner as well as a foot massager in the rear 3-seater relaxation package.
Audi A8 L: Interior
This car is available in eight standard colors. Let us tell you, Audi has completed its 15 years in India this year. On this occasion, the company has introduced this car (Audi A8 L). According to the news, many special features are present in the car. A very special feature is the foot massage. The second row side passenger seat has a heated foot massage system of three feet size. It is available in 4 interior colors – Mother of Pearl Beej, Cognac Brown, Sard Brown and Black. Apart from, The new A8 L gets 55 body colours, 8 interior colours, 7 wood inlays and many more personalized options.
Talking about the features, it includes B&O 3D audio system with 23 speakers, 4-zone climate control, soft close door, 3D surround view camera, rear seat entertainment package, heads-up display and more. The sedan gets Predictive Active Suspension, which raises the suspension of the car when the camera detects speed bumps or rough roads. Also, all wheel steering is also available in it.
Audi A8 L Sedan: Engine
Audi has retained the 3.0-litre, turbo-petrol V6 engine with mild-hybrid technology from the outgoing car on the A8 L facelift. Producing 340hp and 500Nm of torque, the powertrain is mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Equipped with quattro all-wheel drive technology, the A8 L facelift can accelerate from 0-100kph in 5.7 seconds, until it reaches a limited top speed of 250kph.
