2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift has been launched in India at a price of Rs 7.53 lakh (ex-showroom). This price is very less according to an SUV and it is not less than any good news for the customers. The Venue facelift is available in 6 variants – E, S, S+, S(O), SX and SX(O). The sub-compact SUV has been given a major cosmetic update as part of the mid-life-cycle update. Let us tell you that along with the exterior, some updates have been given for the customers in the interior of this SUV as well.
At this price, the new Venue facelift SUV is set to give a tough competition to the popular cars in the sub-compact SUV segment. In this segment, the Tata Nexon SUV is at the forefront of all SUVs sold in India. However, the new Venue, with the upcoming 2022 Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza facelift SUV, aims to give a strong challenge to the segment-leader.
The 2022 Hyundai Venue will get three accessories packs – Basic, Advance, Supreme, under which 47 accessories will be available.
Hyundai Venue facelift 2022: Design and Style
Talking about the design, the ‘Parametric Jewel Grill’ is offered to the customers in the Venue. In which the use of Chrome is seen. In this, the main headlamps can be seen below the new bumpers. The rear also gets a great update with segmented lighting elements and more angular lights along with a full-length lightbar. Along with these updates, an alloy wheel has also been given in the SUV.
While there have been no major changes to the profile of the new SUV, it gets a redesigned 16-inch, dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, the reshaped tail-lamps get new LED lighting elements and are now connected to each other via a horizontal light bar. The rear bumper also gets styling changes with a new black contrasting trim with reflectors. The styling changes at the rear of the car give the Venue a fresh look.
Interiors:
According Major changes have also been made inside the Venue facelift. It gets a new dual-tone black and beige interior color scheme. Talking about some important feature updates in the Venue facelift, the model now gets two-step reclining rear seats, ambient lights, power driver seat, smart electric sunroof and digital cluster driver display. Along with this, there are air purifiers, dual USB C-slots given below the rear AC vents for the rear passengers, wireless phone charger, paddle shifters and four-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat. It also gets a new four-spoke steering wheel from the Creta.
Hyundai Venue facelift 2022: Extra Features
Coming to the feature updates, the new Venue’s full digital instrument cluster looks similar to the Kia Karens, with a customizable theme. It gets an updated 8-inch touchscreen system with in-built navigation and all-new software that supports 60 BlueLink connected car features and over-the-air updates. It also supports 10 regional languages. New Venue customers can now control multiple car functions via Home to Car (H2C) with Alexa and Google Voice Assistant. And this feature is available as standard.
Additionally, the Venue facelift brings Hyundai’s new feature – Sounds of Nature – as seen on Genesis luxury car line-up overseas. It plays soothing acoustic sounds, like crackling fire or sea waves.
Hyundai Venue facelift 2022: Engine Details
Talking about the engine options of the facelifted Hyundai Venue, there will be no change in them. This SUV has been launched in 3 engine options. These options include 1.2L NA petrol, 1.0L turbo-petrol, and 1.5L turbo-diesel engines from which customers can choose their preferred option. However, a 6-speed IMT or a 6-speed AT with oil burner can also be included in the list. Apart from this, the Venue facelift will come in three transmission options – 5-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and 7-speed DCT.
