Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Alto K10. Its price starts from Rs. 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The company had already started its booking for 11 thousand rupees. The new Alto K10’s exterior and interior design have not only been changed, but the engine has also been given a new one. Let us tell you that Maruti Alto has been the best selling car for 16 consecutive years. It has been bought by more than 43 lakh families across the country.
The new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has been brought in a total of four trims: STD, LXI, VXI, VXI+. Where the price of STD variant (Base) with manual gearbox is Rs 3.99 lakh. At the same time, the price of VXI+ variant (top) with its automatic gearbox goes up to Rs 5.83 lakh.

2022 Maruti Alto: Design
Exterior
The Maruti Alto K10 is based on the Heartect platform of Maruti Suzuki. Talking about its look, a black grille with hexagonal mesh has been given in front, while thin and circular headlights are available on both sides. There is a thin air dam at the bottom of the bumper. The Suzuki logo is placed in the middle. It looks very attractive because of the new line and crease.
Interior
Maruti Suzuki has given an all-black theme to the cabin. The dashboard gets a layered design. The center has a floating touchscreen infotainment. Although the company did not tell about the screen size. The steering wheel is new, which also gets mounted controls. The new Alto K10 also gets a semi-digital instrument cluster. For safety, the new Maruti Alto K10 has been introduced with dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS and reverse parking sensors.
2022 Maruti Alto: Engine
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is powered by a new generation 1.0-litre K-Series dual-jet, dual VVT engine. The 1.0-litre naturally aspirated unit produces 66 bhp power at 5,500 rpm and 89 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. This is the same engine that is also powered by the new Celerio, WagonR and S-Presso. Apart from the AGS gearbox, the Maruti Suzuki engine is also mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine gives a mileage of 24.90 kmpl.
